Who Are Specialist Insurance Solutions LTD?

Originally established to support the financial sector, we developed a fast and efficient service that allowed clients to obtain quotes, cover, and documentation precisely when needed. As regulation became more prominent in the mid-2000s, we successfully applied for and were granted FCA permissions, enabling us to continue offering insurance products to the market. As the landscape evolved and more homeowners began acquiring second properties to let, we assisted new landlords in selecting the appropriate cover for their ventures. By 2010, there was growing demand for insurance tailored to non-standard properties, including unoccupied and holiday homes—an area in which we already had the right products to meet these changing needs. Now celebrating over 20 years in business, we pride ourselves on our knowledgeable team and commitment to delivering traditional customer service with a personal touch. Great service and competitive quote

I contacted Specialist Insurance Solutions for a quote covering a particular set of circumstances. Adam was very helpful and provided a quote which, unfortunately, on this occasion, we weren't able to accept (through no fault of Adam's). Hover, I would have no hesitation in recommending SIS as the service provided was excellent.

Helpful and knowledgeable broker

Adam was extremely helpful, got back to me when he said he would, answered my endless questions. We required specific advice for our property insurance and Adam was able to liaise with the insurer to get the cover we needed at a fair price. I would certainly go back for other insurance in future.

Adam was extremely professional

Adam was extremely professional, polite, helpful and efficient getting our Home Insurance for the best price possible to include flood cover that my previous insurer could no longer provide for us. Our home was previously flooded and was essential we had this cover and Adam came up trumps providing exactly what we needed giving us peace of mind. We will certainly be looking at car insurance, caravan and motorbike insurance with Adam when our renewal is due.Thanks again Adam for your hard work.

We act under delegated authority passed to us from the underwriters and are able to bind, issue cover within delegated parameters.

Our insurer partners can provide cover for UK holiday homes and larger properties used as a holiday home in most European countries and around the world.

Unoccupied Property

Typically, when properties are left unoccupied for more than 30 days, insurers must be notified or a specific insurance policy should be arranged from the outset. Whether unoccupied pending sale, following a bereavement or for refurbishment we provide policies suitable in every instance.

Non-Standard Property Construction

Properties constructed with materials other than brick, tile, slate are likely to fall into this category. We have solutions for pre-fabricated properties and those with timber frames, steel frames, flat roofs of more than 25% of the roof area, live roofs and properties with a history of subsidence to name a few.
